After the 2013 flood: why water damage stays on our radar
The September 2013 floods sent the Big Thompson River through the canyon and into west Loveland, and many homes near the river were gutted and rebuilt. Some of those rebuilds were rushed, and we still find wet-damage repairs that were closed up too fast.

The City of Loveland requires a City contractor's license for structural, mechanical, electrical or plumbing work in rental homes, multifamily buildings and non-residential buildings. Contractors who work in those building types without one cannot pull the permit.
