Drywall Contractor Serving Northern Colorado
Fort Collins Drywall Pros works from a shop in midtown Fort Collins and covers the towns within about half an hour of it. Since 2011, more than 1,300 jobs have taken our crews from the historic plaster homes of Loveland and Greeley to brand-new builds in Timnath and Johnstown.
Every town handles contractors a little differently. Some license every trade, some license none, and Greeley is adding a license requirement on January 1, 2027. Each town page below covers the local rules, the housing we see there, and the drywall work it generates most.

Timnath, CO
One of the fastest-growing towns in Colorado, full of new builds, unfinished basements and texture upgrades. About 15 to 20 minutes from our shop.
Wellington, CO
North of Fort Collins on I-25: subdivisions from the 2000s on, many with full unfinished basements. About 20 to 25 minutes from our shop.
Laporte, CO
Unincorporated Larimer County along the Poudre: older farmhouses, acreage ranches and river-bottom water issues. About 15 minutes from our shop.
Johnstown, CO
Fast-growing at I-25 and US 34: the 2534 commercial district, Thompson River Ranch and new master-planned homes. About 25 to 30 minutes from our shop.
Berthoud, CO
Historic Mountain Avenue homes, custom builds at Heron Lakes and growing neighborhoods like Prairie Star. About 30 minutes from our shop.
Local rules
Contractor licensing by jurisdiction
Colorado has no statewide drywall or general contractor license. These are the local rules that apply in our service area, so you know what to ask any contractor before a permitted job.

| Larimer County (unincorporated, incl. Laporte) | County contractor license for work under County building permits, required since September 1, 2009. |
| City of Loveland | City license for structural, mechanical, electrical or plumbing work in rentals, multifamily and non-residential buildings. |
| City of Greeley | City contractor license required for permitted work starting January 1, 2027. |
| Town of Windsor | No contractor license program. Annual Town business license required. |
| Town of Wellington | Town license for all contractors and subcontractors, with insurance naming the Town. |

Our Northern Colorado service area
Our coverage runs from Wellington in the north to Berthoud and Johnstown in the south, and from Laporte at the mouth of the Poudre Canyon east to Greeley.
Drive times from our midtown Fort Collins office range from about 15 minutes to Laporte and Timnath to 30 to 40 minutes for Greeley.
